About the Book

Are you in an endless job search? People call you unemployed, out of work, underemployed. I call you a “seeker” because you are in search of employment. What if I told you that there is a job out there that never expires? Would you accept a good opportunity that did not have an end date? 

There are so many job assistance resources available to job seekers, but very few tools define work according to the word of God. I have spent over a decade supporting adults from various countries and trades to find paid opportunities. Did you know that we were created to always have a job? That’s right. Retirement is a worldly construct, but not in the kingdom of God. Our creator designed us in a special way to always have a job to do. This book will help you explore the work assignment of your life. Using examples from my experience directing career services for Americans and newly arrived families from the refugee resettlement program in the US, you will learn how heads of households joined together to find employment. I’ll begin by sharing my own journey to finding employment and the role God played in transforming my perspective as a “job seeker”. 

There is no “day off” in the Lord. He is always using you, and the gifts and talents you are given.
